    This course is aimed at delegates whom are health and safety professionals looking to develop their auditing skills. It is aimed at delegates who regularly assess the health and safety performance of 2nd and 3rd parties. As well as for occupational health and safety practitioners with a responsibility to design, implement and manage a health and safety management system that meets the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.

    Pre-requisites

    Those attending this course are expected to have prior knowledge of the following:

    Occupational health & safety management principles and concepts:

    • The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
    • The purpose and benefits of an OH&S management system
    • Basic knowledge of managing OH&S through hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control and compliance with legal and other requirements
    • A basic awareness of common examples of relevant national and local OH&S legislation and requirements
    • Commonly used OH&S terms and definitions as given in ISO 45001

    This knowledge can be gained in a number of ways:

          - Previous experience and existing knowledge
          - Attending a CQI and IRCA Certified ISO 45001 Foundation training course – or equivalent
          - Reading or self-study

    We can provide the ISO 45001 Foundation course which covers the above criteria.
