This course is designed to provide delegates with a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practical experience for CCTV Installation. Delegates will learn the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively in the electronic security and video surveillance sector.
- Install and maintain video over UTP
- Set up a range of colour, day/night and dome cameras
- Twisted pair and fibre
- Wire and connect video distribution amplifiers
- Use test equipment effectively
- AHD, HDTVI and HDSDI explained
- Configure and programme digital recording devices
- Run cable properly and terminate cable with connectors RG59, URM70, RG11, CT125
- Configure motorised zoom, varifocal, aspherical and fixed lenses
- Configure an IP/Network CCTV solution
This course is aimed at all delegates who are working or looking to work in the electronic security and video surveillance sector.
Upon completion of the course delegates will be awarded an in-house certificate.
A BTEC Level 3 Accredited Certificate can be included at an extra cost.
